My work is base in the
repetition of calligraphic
ovals gestures, from
paper to glass sculptures
to windows and doors
interventions. I overlap
pieces of glass, creating
a composition between
positive and negative
space. I like the relationship
between surface and line,
how they interact
with
each other, and the projections
they produce with the
light.
In my glass sculptures,
the box is the axis that
supports my work in glass.
I see the boxes as a
means to care for, maintain
or relinquish things,
is also evolution from
one stage to another,
or
the object to expel
the unnecessary. The
box became a symbol for
me and I used as a canvas
that frames the unknown
of the interior, either
baggage or memory.
My art is a daily routine
were I explore the relational
routines -individuality
and commonality,
is about
time and space, and how
we connect, act, interfere,
and relate with each
other.
